Will this feeling goes away once I get a new job and start to move into work stress mode? I really hope not. The ability to calm oneself down. Is this Tai Ji? =P

How my China trip begins...

Woke up early this morning for my 8am flight. Had my first encounter of the trip. I waited for a cab at 6am. Can't seems to get a cab no matter through the phone or on the street. 630am and still no cab. My heart is racing and I am telling myself it can't be. Brain start ticking!!! How!!! Make three phone call for help. Almost resort to waking a friend in the middle of his beauty sleep to get him to fetch me. Haha in the middle of the conversation with him, a cab showed up. It stopped when I flagged. My heart came to peace once the cab driver nod in acknowledgment of my destination to the airport. Phew!!! What a start! Now on to the adventure itself!!! Hee haw!!!!

KL Trip

We took a plane to Kuala Lumpur, change to KLIA express(an express train to town where the main shopping area is) and then a monorail to our hotel! Weeee

We checked in to the hotel, Grand Millennium. The room was huge and nice. I liked it.

We got a nice view of town.

We basically shop, rest and eat for the whole trip. Somehow I like that. Geez, that is a woman's holiday trip!!!

Before we went in to the mall beside our hotel. We saw a huge 'GO FORTH' wording. WOW!!! GO WHERE??? It is a Levis' ad by the way.

We stepped in to the mall and we saw a nice retro car sitting right there after the entrance. Everyone was around taking picture... It was hard getting a decent shot. The shot wasn't decent though.

There was a Tokyo street fair at the mall.

We shop and got hungry. This meat was some great stuff!!!

Holiday over. Time for work!

Load off the shoulder, brain everything. This is the shortest yet longest holiday I had. The total turn off from work actual lightens the load that I never thought would works.

I wonder if it is a me thing or common among traveller. Do you wander into Starbucks during your overseas' holiday/work? Is it the wifi or just the idea of lazing off watching the world goes by in another country...

How often do we venture oversea and found ourselves doing the exact same thing or visiting the exact same food outlets in a different timezone and a different location.

This time round, I am going to venture out and discover a whole new horizon, live a totally different life with a brand new culture. But hey, I bet there will be some familiarity somewhere somehow.

Haven't been taking my quiet moments for a while now. I have been drifting further away from myself lately. Time changes a man, or the man changes? We are not always entitled to answer, yet questions are always thrown at us. We so often answer not knowing right and wrong. Do you answer assuming that you are right or presume that it is right? Do you act in accordance to your thinking or others action? How often do we ask others to be put in our shoes and yet never ever crosses our mind to put ourselves in their shoes. We fight for our rights and our properties yet not knowing that all these are provided free for all to use. We stamp our territories and demand rules and order in our own ways thinking that it should be the way. Are we put into situation by ourselves or push in forcefully by others. Why do we so helplessly follow? One fine day, every men and women will learn that we can all have a choice.

I have been moving away from my point so constantly that it irks. I think I have a problem focusing... Sheesh. Anyway, I will be away for a short holiday. Genting. A nice place. Crowed yet peaceful. I have been there a couple of times. There is really nothing much to do there. Its boring... But somehow I am excited. Very looking forward... Because I am going with her. Its a strange feeling sometime. Thinking of her calm my soul. She is like a kind of anxiolytic. What a weird way to describe...

I have been trying real hard to get two songs down. I wonder sometimes to myself why am I still playing. As a hobby or just passing time. Do I really like it? I really wonder...

Sometimes after running too fast for a while, you need to slow down. Slow jog but not walk nor stop.

I am excited for this month bass showcase at Yamaha. At the back of my mind I have this thought that although I am being 'showcase-ed' it really doesn't affirm my playing level but rather due to that fact that I have outlasted others in the school. I must be pure humble or rather a low confident guy. Nonetheless, playing bass or rather getting my self involve in music have brought me places(locally) and allow me to meet pretty interesting people. Growth is an amazing thing, sometimes everyone should just take a short break and look back at oneself and analyze how one have grown and become. How one's mindset can change their direction and desire, how one's dream and goal can evolve from something actual into something spiritual.

Happiness comes not in shape and sizes but rather create from the heart through sheer self contentment.

As the saying goes, one door shut, the other opens. Finally, after months of worrying and practicing, the day has come to test the metal. Result will be out early Dec. Pray for a good one~! Relieved yet telling myself this is just the beginning of a new chapter.

Its the holiday season soon~! December is a lovely month, Christmas, New year, cool weather, lazy raining weekends and lots of lovely lighting along the roads and mall. As the song goes... I had a bad dream yesterday. I dreamt that I was playing bass to this few guys and suddenly my bass just keeps getting smaller and smaller. At first, it broke into two parts where the headstock(tuner portion) broke off. The sound got thinner and I was trying so hard to make it sound good. The next thing I know I was only left with one small piece of the body still trying to play it... WTH!!! I feel so uncomfortable...

What a weird dream, totally no link to anything... *faint*

I dreamt of my bass and my zoom B2.1u multi-efx. I dreamt I played a damm groovy rhythm, follow by a kick ass bass solo. The bass solo part was absurdly ridiculous, I was just randomly playing any notes and they just sound so correct. Not a single moment did I think of what notes to play. It was all there, right at my fingertips. Why ridiculous? There were so much 16th note played and it still sound funky!!! My finger was like on fire~!!! Haha. It made my day~ I feel so musical accomplished today just because of it. Sweet!!! Did I just improve my bass playing in my dream? I think I did... =P

I should get some of this to improve on the funk~!

忘了在哪听过这句话了，“要伤心过才能体会真正的开心，要失去过才会了解怎么去珍惜”，不时会有此感触。难道一定要在失去时才会懂得珍惜吗?

很多人在没拥有某样东西时都不会害怕失去。但当他们慢慢得到时，就不自觉的想要保护它。当你越想保护它时，它就越容易遗失。拿钱来说吧，当你没钱时，你跟本不会去管怎么把它收好。当你慢慢拥有时，就会想尽办法把它储存好。当你忽然间倾家荡产时又不会去在乎。人有时真是贱。我也有时会偶尔贱一下。哈哈。。。

礼拜天的悠闲会让我不知觉的写一堆废话。请多多包含。

Battery woes...

Last week and this week was a battery woes week... My bass ran out of battery. My alarm clock ran out of battery. My torch light ran out of battery. Yikes~!!!Maybe I should carry spare batteries(AA,AAAA,9V) in my car. Haha!!!
Gonna be a busy week, with meetings and standbys and hopefully if I am not activated, my acoustic gig! All righty! Lets GO!!!
